Description

" Located in the heart of Bunbury and set in a wonderful plot of just under half an acre, an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a detached house with two garages in need of complete renovation
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

As I drive around the semi rural lanes and roads of Cheshire between appointments, I do love listening to music. Im presently listening to an album called TEN YEAR PLAN. It strikes me as I put this amazingly rare buying opportunity to the market that you may well have in your own ten year plan moving to Bunbury. And who could blame you?! Bunbury is a truly beautiful village, with a lovely range of amenities and access on foot to glorious open countryside.

The subject property, Holly Cottage, has been in the same family ownership since 1974. So, this can truly be said to be a one in fifty year buying opportunity and it is very rare that I get to write that! It is offered for sale with no ongoing chain.
The house is located at the head of a private driveway which is shared with just one other property. It enjoys a spectacular south facing plot, extending in total to 0.47 acre and adjoins open fields.

Including both garages, the overall square footage extends to circa 1800 square feet. It is worth noting that is a home that requires total renovation. So, whilst this comes with a lot of work, it also comes with a vast array of exciting possibilities and subject to planning permission being granted, there is obvious scope to extend or even completely replace.

This has been a home that has been hugely treasured and enjoyed and the chance to be its next custodian is a rare and special one. And who knows, it might become part of your fifty year plan!
