‘One of the nicest things about living in our house is the beautiful, large kitchen that opens up into the garden through the bi folding doors. On a summers day we open the back of the house up to eat breakfast in the morning sunshine. No matter how dull the weather is outside our house is always full of natural light. We have raised four children in the house and have always found it to feel spacious, there is always a peaceful corner somewhere to read, work or relax in. All four children were educated at the local schools, Tetherdown, St James and Fortismere. They loved their experiences going to these schools having made great friendships and would agree that they have had very happy childhoods growing up in this house. I walk my dog in Highgate Woods everyday, which is such an amazing place and incredible to have so close to the house. Cherry Tree Woods is even closer and the children have spent many hours playing in the park. Walking through Cherry Tree woods in the morning to get to the tube station in East Finchley is a lovely way to start the day. Lynmouth Road is quiet and has a very nice community of people living in it. Access to the city is so easy via the tube station at East Finchley just a few minutes walk away. The cafes and shops in Muswell Hill are fantastic.
