I felt very lucky to find this bright, spacious flat overlooking well kept gardens, and feel even more so now after living for 10 years among quiet, friendly neighbours. A lot of care and attention has gone into renovating it with hardwood floors and custom made furnishings throughout. My partner and I love cooking and the large kitchen diner has been great for cooking together and with friends and family or for hosting dinner parties.

The area has been a wonderful place to live. Wood Street has the Georgian Market with pop up food shops and lots of vintage shopping plus plenty of cafes, delis and bakeries. Also nearby, the Lacy Nook does an excellent brunch and the microbreweries, bars, restaurants and shops of Walthamstow Village are only a 25 minute walk away.

Epping Forest is just over the road and we have spent a lot of time on wonderful walks as far as Connaught Water without leaving the canopy, but it still feels connected thanks to excellent transport links. The overground gets you to Hackney in 11 minutes and Liverpool Street in 20. There is also an electric car charging point just outside and easy access to the A406 and M11.
