The larger of the two double bedrooms, to the right of the top of the stairwell, in turn has a door leading up to the top floor. This attic space benefits two skylights and over 7ft clearance at the high point. A cupboard has been built in already, and the roof is clad in pine tongue and groove timber. There are 12 solar panels which are owned by the lease holder and not only does the electricity get used by the house but the panels send electricity to the grid which is paid back. The annual amount is between £600 and £700. The freeholders are responsible for the roof, windows and externals. The roof and windows have been replaced within the last four years. At the end of the road there is Dewchurch Memorial Hall, and behind that a gated young childrens' play area with swings and climbing frames.
