Description

" Located in the prime plot at the head of a select cul de sac, with south facing garden, open views of countryside, gated driveway and parking for eight cars, an outstanding upgraded detached house

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

I know that as an estate agent you shouldn‘t have your favourites, but when it comes to locations, Bunbury village is right up there for me. It has everything beautiful architecture, great people and community spirit, excellent amenities, open countryside surrounding with great walks and a hugely popular primary school within walking distance.

This particular home forms part of a small select development, on the rural edge of the village yet also within walking distance of the centre and was constructed by Duchy Homes. Offering an array of super features, it and represents a very rare buying opportunity.

The two keys aspects to note here is the quality of the particular plot that the house enjoys and the outstanding array of additional quality features that have been added.

In terms of the plot, it sits in the top right of the cul de sac so has no passing traffic. In addition, it has a south facing rear garden and a direct view of the landscaped communal land that is part of the development. Accordingly this offers peace of mind in terms of certainty of aspect and is also really attractive, incorporating a pond and expanses of lawn.

For me though the key thing is the amount of parking. When was the last time you went to a modern house with parking for eight to ten cars? Probably never! This is a terrific feature and with an electrically operated gate having been installed, the area can also be made secure for those with animals or children.

The second key feature is the very high specification. The current owners have invested heavily into the home with a series of above and beyond extras and high grade customisation. These improvements took places in two phases, some at the original time of construction and then some others in the time after completion.

The extras overseen by the original developer included the extensive installation of large expanses of Indian Stone Patio, upgrade of the drains to allow the installation of cloakroom into the back of the garage, alteration to layout and bespoke ceiling mouldings to the principal living room and one of the bedrooms. Other upgrades included significant enhancement to the kitchen and the installation of oak doors.

After completion, the owners continued to invest heavily into the house so as to create a luxurious better than show house finish. These more recent alteration have resulted in the garage having insulated walls, the loft space receiving additional insulation, further plumbing and electrical upgrades, installation of remote controlled gates, full internal decoration, plantation shutters in many rooms and most impressively of all, bespoke Pianca Italian wardrobes in the two biggest bedrooms, supplied and installed by Chattels of Chester.

All these changes add up to well over £120,000 worth of investment, making this one of the best value houses presently for sale in the CW6 postcode.
