"Selling with the benefit of no onward chain. A classic Arts & Crafts, five bedroom detached family home in the heart of Woking. Dating we believe to 1907 and displaying many of the architectural features of the era including, fireplaces, high ceilings, leaded light windows, stucco rendering and stained glass, the living space is bright and airy with well proportioned rooms. From the charming covered porch you enter the main hallway which provides access to the principal reception rooms and a galleried staircase with a stunning stained glass window which features white roses, believed to depict the original roses of White Rose Lane. The double aspect sitting room is a generous size which creates an ideal space for entertaining. The dining room is truly enchanting with a bay window, wood panelled ceiling, original fireplace and hardwood surround, original built in glassware cupboard with leaded glass doors and a hidden servants door linking the dining room and the kitchen. The first floor continues to be a bright space with five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 'walk in' storage cupboard. There is a useful large loft space which is used for storage. Due to the size of the plot and the position of the property within it, the property would lend itself well to further expansion subject to the usual planning consents.

Situation
The property is perfectly located within half a mile of Woking town and superb mainline station which offers exceptional service to Waterloo with fast trains taking about 23 minutes. Located on the southern side of town and within easy reach of Greenbelt countryside, the pretty villages of Clandon and Ripley are close by as is access to the Surrey Hills AONB. Woking itself offers a large and varied shopping and entertainment experience with numerous restaurants, cinemas, and a first class theatre as well as golf, tennis and health clubs. Numerous state and private schools are located within the local area including the International School of London (Surrey) within a mile. There are some lovely countryside walks along the River Wey nearby and the A3, M3 and M25 are accessible for access to London and major airports.

Outside
The property is well screened from White Rose Lane with mature trees and hedging on the boundary. A gate leads to a parking area for several cars in front of a detached double garage with a storage area/workshop to the rear. There is a pretty front garden with lawned areas and mature shrubs, bisected by a pathway which leads to the main entrance of the house. The rear garden is a beautifully private space and is a notably generous size for such a central property (total plot size 0.275 acres). There is a large patio area directly to the rear of the house with a pretty wisteria covered pergola. This space is ideal for entertaining and alfresco dining. The majority of the garden is laid to lawn with a private area to the rear, screened by mature trees and creating a tranquil space with a traditional summer house.
