"On the ground floor, a reception hall leads into the principal drawing room. This is a hugely attractive double aspect room with an oak floor and a wonderful inglenook fireplace that houses a wood burning stove. Together with the original timbers and beams, this creates a very comfortable and warm room. From here, an archway leads to the dining room with similar beams and flooring and which overlooks the side terrace through double opening leaded light doors. From the dining room a door leads to the kitchen/breakfast room, part of the former stable. This is the more modern part of the house so consequently has a very different feel to the older part of the property.
