"Great respect has been to paid to the original fabric of this Victorian house whilst internally creating a luxurious home combined with the latest in internet technology including an intelligent lighting system and Cat 6 digital cabling. The quality on offer here becomes immediately apparent at the antique entrance gate, forged by the Coalbrookdale Iron Company. The applied finish throughout is exemplary, from the Farrow & Ball paints and wallpaper to the marble kitchen flooring - nothing that we can see has been overlooked or skimped upon. As you enter the house you are immediately struck by the grandeur of the drawing room with its twin chandeliers and stunning ceiling roses, original stripped and varnished floorboards and marble surround cast iron Victorian fireplace. The windows throughout are replacement double glazed units in hardwood frames with furniture to match the originals. Twin folding doors with a lovely glazed fanlight over opens to a new mahogany framed conservatory, again with chandelier, which also feature in other principle rooms. The separate family room features a Victorian fireplace with remote operated gas fire. Off here is the study/office with a private external door. A ground floor bedroom 5 could also be utilised as an additional study due to the duplicate intelligent wiring system. The en-suite shower-room is fitted with Villeroy & Boch furniture. The kitchen/dining room is clearly our centre-piece. The kitchen units have an attractive light-olive style finish that contrasts with granite quartz worktops. Fitted appliances are by Bosch and include a 5-burner gas hob, twin ovens (one being microwave/conventional), dishwasher, full-height separate fridge & freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer. Further treats include a Rangemaster wine-cooler and boiling water tap. At one end a vaulted ceiling with Velux windows allows great ingress of light whilst bi-fold doors lead to courtyard.

A new Victorian staircase with central wool carpet runner leads to 4 beautiful double bedrooms, each with its own charm, character and fitted wardrobes. The exposed floorboards have been limed and varnished. Either of the 2 at the rear could be your master room as both have an utterly charming en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom. Bathroom fittings are by Crosswater or Roper Rhodes. A newly installed staircase leads from the 4th bedroom to the 2nd floor and the bonus/hobbies room with en-suite wc.

Further benefits include a fully-wired Sonos music system, burglar alarm, Sky connection points with multi-room facility, marble or porcelain flooring to bathrooms & undertile heating and Victorian style radiators."
