CRICKLADE This small north Wiltshire town can trace its origins back to Saxon times when it was a crossing point on the river Thames. Today the High Street retains a range of shops and other services such as a Doctors Surgery and Library, whilst the town in general offers a selection of Public Houses, Saxon Church, Primary School and other leisure facilities. Cricklade is also well located for access to major communication routes such as the M4 and M5 motorways and mainline railway service from Swindon to London, Paddington (c.58 minutes). THE PROPERTY This pretty period-semi detached cottage, sits on the edge of this popular, historic market town. The property boasts a wealth of character with good outside space including a large garden and approximately a quarter of an acre orchard.
