"If it is space you need then you need look no further, this 4 bedroom detached house located at the top end of the village was built with space in mind. It is in a non-estate location and has 4 double bedrooms; the main bedroom has 2 built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space plus an en-suite shower room so no fighting for the bathroom with the children. 2 of the remaining 3 bedrooms also benefit from built-in wardrobes.

Downstairs there is a large living room with attractive fireplace which currently has a real flame gas fire, there are double doors separating this from the separate dining room and to the rear is the generous kitchen/breakfast room with built-in oven, hob , fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The other white goods can be tucked away in the utility room. For the home workers or just for the homework there is a good size study with telephone point capable of broadband connection.

Outside, there is a double width driveway that I have seen 4 cars on and a double width garage with storage space in the pitch roof. The rear garden is woken by the morning sun which it retains for most of the day and is of a size suitable for kids without getting out of hand. The current owners even grow their own vegetables.

What the Owner says:

Living a busy lifestyle we needed a comfortable home with the space to cater for our many activities as well as entertaining friends and family. This house provided us with all we needed and more... What we had not thought of was how much of an impact the village would have.

The community spirit within Ashington is very strong with events and activities going on all year round but if you prefer not to participate; that is also very acceptable. We made Ashington our home and will continue to live here just in something smaller.
