"There are a limited number of apartments in Ashington but the quality of build and finish you’ll find here is superb. This 2 bedroom apartment is on the first floor so if you are of a nervous disposition, you can get comfort from being up one level as well as the block having a security entry system although as anyone in the area would tell you, none of these things are needed.

There is an easy staircase leading to the communal landing and then a solid door opens into the apartment. The apartment offers more space than it would appear from the outside, and I must say has been kept in very good order having a very neutral yet comforting colour scheme throughout. There is a big sitting room to the front with double glazed windows overlooking the communal garden and plenty of space for large sofas as well as enough for a dining table. There are gadgets and gizmos such as communal television aerial and cabling for satellite television but you do need to provide your own box.

The kitchen also has the feel of quality and has a built-in oven, hob and fridge/freezer plus a window to the side. When you’ve finished entertaining and decide to retire there are 2 double bedrooms both with built-in wardrobe cupboards and a well fitted bathroom suite with tiled walls and flooring. The other benefits include gas central heating and UPVC double glazing plus allocated parking to the front.

What the Owner says:

When I was looking for somewhere to live I had some fairly specific requirements. I wanted to be far enough away from a main town but close enough to commute and I wanted to be somewhere near the countryside. When I heard of these properties being built about 3 years ago, I knew of the developer and of their reputation and the position was ideal.

The show flat had a very nice feel and the quality of finish was a further deciding factor. There is a nice bright feel to the flat itself plus a nice urbanisation with very friendly neighbours, and an all round good community feel. Another benefit to me has been the extremely low maintenance as there is a garden you can enjoy.
