The town centre is only 1 mile away, open countryside within a mile the other side providing lovely walks and some great pubs as well.

We have been here 4 years now and we bought it because it was far bigger than anything else we looked at in the same budget. We have converted the garage to provide almost a self contained annex, we now have more space than we know what to do with.
As Ed said the location is great, you can take your pick countryside, local shops, pubs, town centre, train station and the A264 is just 2 roads away which gives access to the M23 if driving.
There is no onward chain, we are moving straight out so you can get in as soon as you like.
