"The Forage Yard is an attractive, flint barn conversion offering close to 3,000 sq. ft. of light and spacious accommodation. It has wonderful vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and enjoys stunning views across farmland up to the Trundle.

The property is formerly one of the shepherd s barns on the Goodwood Estate. It is situated within the South Downs National Park and conveniently located approximately 3 miles northeast of Chichester.

DESCRIPTION

The property offers flexible and versatile accommodation. This allows for part of the property to be used as a self contained annexe with its own independent entrance and internal door to the main property.

The main entrance hall with ceramic tiled flooring leads directly on to a dining reception room with wood burning stove and solid wood flooring. The nearby cathedral city of Chichester offers excellent high street shopping, many fashionable restaurants, cafes, bars, a leisure centre with swimming pool, sports clubs, cinemas, and is home to the Pallant House Gallery and the renowned Festival Theatre.

Located close to Lavant is the Goodwood Estate, which is famous for its many sporting event days including the much celebrated Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival for motor racing enthusiasts, and a season of horse racing including the Glorious Goodwood Festival. The South Downs National Park is within easy reach and Chichester Harbour, along with Chichester Marina and Birdham Pool, are located just to the south west of the city, the harbour being home to several popular sailing clubs. An excellent selection of state and independent schooling can be found in the vicinity, including a well regarded primary school in Lavant village.
