This is a traditional style terrace family home situated within the Stowlawn area of Bilston. To the ground floor, the accommodation consists of an entrance porch, reception hallway, two reception rooms, fitted kitchen and a lean-to with a former WC, whilst to the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom/WC. Externally, there is off road parking and gardens to the front and rear. EPC rating is grade D.

Location

Stowlawn is part of Bilston which lies to the south east of Wolverhampton city centre and has access to Wolverhampton via the A41 and the A454. There are several shops and schools within the area, whilst Bilston has a large supermarket, a leisure centre and a variety of local shops and a market. Wolverhampton itself has a University, a theatre, an art gallery and several museums. There are a number of public parks within the city, along with several shopping centre. There is also a mainline railway station and a direct tram link to Birmingham city centre. The motorway network can be accessed via the M6, M5 and the M54.

Viewing is recommended to appreciate the size and the location of this traditional style family home. An entrance porch with a feature double glazed entrance door, a double glazed side window and plus feature wood effect flooring, leads to an entrance hall, which also has feature wood effect flooring, an understairs cupboard and stairs rising to the first floor. There is a front facing sitting room which benefits from a double glazed window overlooking the front of the property and there is a second rear facing reception room which has two double glazed windows and a wall mounted gas fire set on a brick effect chimney breast. The kitchen is fitted with a contemporary range of wall and base units, with roll top work-surfaces, a sink and drainer unit, an electric hob, an electric oven and plumbing for a washing machine, along with a single glazed window and door leading to a rear lobby area, which has a former downstairs WC (WC not in working order) and a single glazed door onto the rear garden. Upstairs, the landing has a loft hatch and an airing cupboard, whilst there are three good sized bedrooms and a bathroom which is fitted with a three piece suite and a double glazed window overlooking the rear garden. To the front of the property, there is a lawned area with a dwarf wall and ornamental railing, as well as a block paved driveway providing off road parking. Directions :-

From Wolverhampton ring-road, take the A41/Bilston Road in the direction of Bilston and continue on this road, which becomes Wellington Road. Off Wellington Road, turn left onto Green Lanes and turn right onto Marchant Road. Then turn left onto Fairway Green, where number 22 is towards the top of the road on the left hand side.
