"The original building has a wealth of history in the Mumbles community, it was originally a school. Eventually, when the old school, previously a Church school, Church boys club, Little theatre and Badminton club became vacant and available for rent the Mumbles Motor Boat & Fishing Club decided to rent the building from the Somerset Trust. As mentioned the original building was also the first home of Swansea Little Theatre, or Swansea Stage Society as it was then known in 1924. Some famous feet trod the boards there - Dylan Thomas was a member and he appeared in five productions in the early 1930s. It is reported that Dylan's theatrical career came to an abrupt end after he ignored the producers warning not to slip off to the Antelope for a drink during rehearsals. The producer is supposed have told Dylan, if you go, don't come back. Dylan didn't come back. and was sacked for it. We are now at present day, and the building consists of three properties which have all been lovingly developed by the same family. The three properties hold a sense of uniqueness to each other while presenting an excellent standard of finish. The family have developed the building whilst being mindful that it is set in a conservation area, this means that the design and finish has been executed in a sympathetic way to the beautiful surrounding area of The Gower. Wonderfully situated only moments from the infamous Mumbles promenade, this generous family home is ideal for seaside village life. The property is a substantial town house, organised over three floors and due to the elevated position, it benefits from fabulous sea and landmark views. You will journey up the steps and around the side of the property to enter the home into the spacious and light entrance hallway. The hallway itself has a copious amount of glass to enhance the feeling of space and brightness, it also houses masses of built in storage space. The ground floor encompasses a great games room, which is versatile enough to be used as either a living space or additional bedroom. This room is generous, bright and has French doors leading out to the side courtyard area. There is also a generous bedroom with high ceilings, Juliet balcony and has a fabulous en-suite wet room. Rising to the first floor we discover the living areas which have those wonderful views over Mumbles and Swansea Bay. The open plan design of the living areas creates a naturally light, substantial social space. The L shaped area consumes a lounge, dining space and considerable kitchen. The lounge and dining areas have French doors which open out onto balconies, the sea and Oystermouth castle views to behold here are just wonderful. You will also be able to enjoy the views from inside while relaxing, dining or cooking. The lounge and dining room fuse seamlessly together, they are generous in space and complimented by the French doors and balcony. Now lets ascend to the second floor where you will discover two further bedrooms. A master suite is located at the front of the house, taking advantage of the spectacular views over Mumbles and Swansea Bay. The bedroom is generous with French doors leading onto a balcony area, and an en-suite bathroom housing a bath, separate shower unit, wash basin and WC. You will also find a separate walk in dressing room discretely located off the landing. An additional double bedroom also sits at the front of the house, again taking advantage of the views and also housing French doors leading onto a balcony. This is an excellent size bedroom and incorporates an en-suite bathroom consisting of a copious shower unit, wash basin and WC. You will also find a very handy built in storage cupboard.

Externally, the home offers a generous patio dining area and landscaped courtyard style space to the side and rear of the property. There is also two storage outbuildings to the rear. The wow factor of this home has to be its incredible location and views practically on the front of Mumbles promenade. You will have the huge amount that Mumbles and surrounding areas have to offer on your doorstep! You will be able to walk to the village, the pier, local parks, restaurants and shops in only a few minutes. Whilst these particulars are believed to be accurate, they are set for guidance only and do not constitute any part of a formal contract. Dawsons have not checked the service availability of any appliances or central heating boilers which are included in the sale."
