"An imposing and impressive 6 bedroom family home with separate, self-contained annexe set in glorious secluded grounds of 0.85 acre where the 'classic' facades of the exterior belie the modern light and bright accommodation within.

DETAILS The grand portico shelters the double oak front door that leads into the spacious entry hall and, immediately, the scene is set for the feel of this splendid property. Every room is flooded with natural light and the neutral light coloured decor amplifies the effect. The main feature of the entry hall with its polished tiled floor is the turning oak staircase and gallery landing above. Beyond the staircase, the dining space is partly 'open plan' to the lounge. The lounge is triple aspect with a raised, gas effect, feature fireplace and French doors to the outside terrace and grounds. Further doors from the entrance hall lead to the kitchen and bay windowed study. The kitchen has ceramic flooring illuminated by low level LED lights and comprises a range of maple fronted cupboards & granite work surfaces. All the appliances are of good quality and include De Dietrich microwave and conventional ovens. The kitchen continues, open plan, to the breakfast room with its 'island' breakfast bar. Beyond the breakfast room is the family room which, in turn, leads to the conservatory. Doors off the breakfast room lead to the utility space and the downstairs WC. All the principal rooms at the back of the house have French doors to the garden and immediately beyond each of these doors, are terraced or decked areas which make for a very practical transition from inside to out. From the first floor turning, gallery landing, doors lead to all the bedrooms. The principal bedroom suite has a range of built in wardrobes and glazed doors to the fabulous, generous terrace with views over the gardens. The en-suite bathroom has ceramic flooring, a corner bath and twin wash hand basins. The second bedroom suite comprises built in wardrobes and a shower room, as does the third bedroom suite. Bedroom four has built in wardrobes and a wash hand basin and bedroom five has built in wardrobes too. The family bathroom has ceramic tiled flooring with over bath shower, wash hand basin and medicine cupboard. Outside, and detached from the main house, the double garage block incorporates a self contained kitchen, shower room and living space above.
