"This delightful Victorian attached property has much to offer in both terms of accommodation and location. Our clients have spent much time, effort and no little finance in bringing back to life this lovely home since they bought it from us in 2007. The first noteworthy feature is undoubtedly the fantastic reception hall with its black and white tiled flooring, and here you get the first view of the height of the ceilings. From the entrance hall, the stairs lead up to the first floor and there is a very useful understairs recess, ideal for the telephone etc. There is a modern downstairs cloakroom here too. Continue through into the principal reception areas, originally two separate rooms but now opened up to create one large living space with beautiful ornate cast iron fireplaces at either end. There are also two impressively high sash bay windows and the flooring is of solid oak. Next the kitchen, formerly at the front of the house in what is now a study, the kitchen has been extended and refitted within the past 12 months to create an excellent cooking and dining space. Fitted with a comprehensive range of cream fronted units with timber worktops and an almost full height fitted storage cupboard in a contrasting blue. There is space for an 80cm gas range cooker whilst the dishwasher is built in. The walls and floor are attractively tiled and there is ample space for a dining table. Upstairs, to the first floor landing where there are 3 good sized bedrooms. The master enjoys its own en-suite facility with tiled shower cubicle and washbasin. The family bathroom is also on this floor and is beautifully fitted with a white suite including a free-standing claw foot bath with telephone style shower attachment. There is also an array of cream fronted base level units here. A further staircase gives access to the 4th bedroom. This has been converted from the loft space in the last 12 months and provides a bright room with ample head height and exposed flooring. The property is heating via a gas central heating system to radiators."
