"Now, if you are looking for something really different then we thoroughly recommend a viewing of this second floor one bedroom conversion apartment situated across the entire top floor of a converted Edwardian house built in 1910. It has been updated by the present owner revealing original features, materials and styles all sympathetic to the age and character of the building. In the main receptions there are reproduction Art Nouveau cast-iron radiators, painted gold and tapped with matching ?+?Crocus?+? thermostatic valves that are finished in polished brass. In the living room, the fireplace, a reproduction Celtic Surround housing a coal-effect Multiglow gas fire upon a solid polished granite hearth, is a real focal point where exposed wooden floorboards, in-situ shelving and long sloping eaves give an intimate and welcoming feeling. In the hallway, Victorian-style mosaic red, black and buff floor tiles, timber wainscoting and original oak door and surround are lit up by the specially commissioned triple glazed stained glass windows that look out to the galleried inner hall. The present owner has converted the bathroom to a wet room tiled with forest green Indian marble surrounded by a Victorian style black and buff Metro tile and dado border and installed an onyx hand basin on a specially cut and polished solid black granite slab, a painted double ended slipper bath with claw feet, a chrome Victorian style towel radiator with traditional thermostatic tap valves and matching traditional chrome wall mounted basin taps and spout, free-standing bath taps and thermostatic shower system capped with an 8-inch shower rose. Throughout the property there is recently fitted double-glazing and a new programmable Worcester Bosch Greenstar Combi-boiler installed in 2007. The kitchen contains an original cast-iron fireplace and there is a Belfast sink set within a dual drainer and storage unit specially built from reclaimed pine, waxed and finished with Danish oil and lit by three recessed antique brass-finish down-lights. The floor has bordered Victorian style chequered tiling matched by the far wall, window sill and dormer sides and a pantry / utility room with reclaimed pine shelving is tiled in Quarry tiles lit by two antique brass ?+?White Star Line?+? ship lights on the wall. The bedroom features exposed floorboards and matching dark varnished wainscoting, in-situ wardrobe area and fitted dark wooden blinds. The living room and bedroom are fitted with matching Harlequin Plum & Gold double-lined curtains. All of the apartment?+?s light switches have been replaced with copper ?+?dolly?+? switches mounted on cedar wood plinths. Outside there is private off street parking for two vehicles lined with ilex meserveae?+??+?Blue Maid?+? and ?+?Blue Prince?+? holly bushes backed by a private grass and block-paved patio area set for entertaining featuring an in-situ brick plinth table topped with reclaimed sleepers. The seller is willing to negotiate sale of furniture suited to the property including Oxblood Chesterfield sofa and arm chair, large marble topped carved ornate coffee table, Victorian Green Man pedestal desk, carved 19th century ebonized court cupboard, large pine Welsh kitchen dresser, a pair of chrome plated 40-inch brass church candlesticks, a king-size reproduction Louis XV sleigh-bed with dragon feet finished in mahogany and a matching pair of metre-high marble plinths with brass features. Access to West Byfleet town centre is within a quarter mile offering a Waitrose supermarket, health centre, a selection of retail shopping outlets, licensed premises and restaurants. West Byfleet Station is within a third of a mile
