The road allows for peace and quiet, but within a short distance to Sutton and Carshalton with all the excellent local amenities including a vast array of shopping facilities restaurants and bars with 3 train stations within a mile. The house has been comprehensively extended to the rear from the original layout to now give more entertaining space and large kitchen/breakfast room - truly epitomising the definition of being the 'heart of the home'. The dining room also gives access to the conservatory offering wonderful views of the beautiful landscaped garden – itself being perfect for a glass of wine on those hot summer evenings! Upstairs the 3 bedrooms are all finished to a similar standard with the bathroom having a separate shower. We moved from out of London to Sutton to make commuting into central London easier: transport links are very convenient and the station and the High Street are only a short walk away. We can also get down to the Surrey hills easily for beautiful walks. The house is roomy, and we love the private garden. We’ve added a conservatory, a lovely bright room that also warms the house. We’re moving because we’re retiring, and want to live by the sea.
