"This delightful family home was built in 1935 by the original builder for his own occupation on a double width plot that extends to 0.23 acre with a 140n++ westerly backing garden. This was an era when good quality building materials were plentiful and craftsmanship was the order of the day. Our clients purchased their home in 1982 and immediately undertook an extensive refurbishment project and later extended in 2003 to provide an enlarged living room, breakfast room and second cloakroom. The original character has been preserved but not at the expense of modern day comforts such as double-glazing, gas central heating and a comprehensively fitted kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom. This really is a home for all seasons and is easy to imagine it decorated for a traditional Christmas with open fires and the sound of laughter then in the spring & summer, open the large windows & French doors to allow the breeze through and flood the rooms with sunlight. As you enter the good-sized reception hall you will not be disappointed and it gives a flavour of what is to come. Step into the comfortable living room with its feature arch & French doors that open onto the patio and to one side is a fireplace with a raised hearth. To the front is a lovely bay fronted dining room with ample space for entertaining and it also retains its fireplace. For those less formal day-to-day meals, a breakfast room leads off the kitchen. The kitchen has been comprehensively fitted with a range of cabinets inset with an integrated hob, canopied cooker hood, double oven and fridge/freezer.

To the first floor, the spacious square landing has deep built-in eaves storage cupboards. Both the master and second bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and the third is also a double bedroom. The tiled bathroom is fitted with a 4-piece suite incorporating a separate shower cubical and a corner bath. Council Tax Band: F"
