"This 1930n++s Tudor style home was built when materials were plentiful and craftsmanship was the order of the day. Later extended and substantially improved by our clients whilst retaining that attention to detail. The ground floor accommodation is ideal for entertaining with the individual reception rooms flowing together for parties or being able to be closed off for more intimate gatherings. The beamed living room is a large yet comfortable room retaining its open brick fireplace and French doors set on parliament hinges opening into the separate dining room. This in turn flows through into the west facing conservatory that is a lovely room to catch the afternoon sun and enjoy the garden. Adjoining is a family sized kitchen/breakfast room that has been attractively fitted with a range of limed oak fronted units with an integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Provision has been made for a 1100mm range cooker (not included) with a chimney cooker hood over and there is ample space for a dining table and further freestanding furniture. Completing the ground floor is a useful guest cloakroom.
To the first floor are three double bedrooms, the master being of a generous size with a range of cherry wood fitted wardrobes and matching furniture. Both the other bedrooms also have fitted wardrobes and there is a nursery/study that is currently being used as a utility room with fitted cupboards and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer. The fully tiled family bathroom has been attractively fitted with a modern 3 piece white suite including a spa bath. Council Tax: Band E"
