"Are you looking for that family home that is a stone’s throw from the town?

This period family home is located just on the outskirts of the town centre, so there really is everything on your doorstep. The famous Memorial park is just around a corner with children’s play area, perfect to tire your kids out before bedtime. Or perhaps what’s more important for you is Redhill mainline station with its fast links to London in less than 30 minutes and direct service to Gatwick and South Coast.

As soon as you walk inside, you really get the feeling of space from the impressive size of the hall. It has original stripped floors and oak doors, reflecting the light and giving it a sense of warmth. The owner has taken great care to keep many of the original features throughout the home, including terracotta flooring, picture rails, stripped floor boards, stunning oak doors and stripped high skirting boards, to name but a few. What has been added is a white suite bathroom with a beautiful ball and claw roll top bath, which would look most inviting after a busy day at work.

Upstairs you will find three double bedrooms and further up on the next floor there are two loft rooms. One is being used a day room/lounge and the other as a bedroom, ideal for a teenager wanting to have a bit of own space.

What the Owner says:

We found our house in Lynwood Road after spending some time looking at houses around Redhill, and were immediately struck by the comparative spaciousness. It needed redecorating at the time, but has a comfortable suburban feel even with its close proximity to the town centre and train station.

Frenches Ponds are 50 yards away and the park just round the corner. The garden is just the right size and has gained a palm tree in our time! With the brilliant St. Bedes school just up the road for our children, it was an easy decision to buy. We hope you will feel the same.
