"You would have to of been looking to buy in 1961 to have last been in with a chance of living in this beautiful spot pleasantly set back from the road.

The house had planning permission around 15-16 years ago to extend over and behind the garage, so potential to re-model the house to suit your needs seems possible subject to the usual permissions. This would further benefit the current kitchen/breakfast room, lounge with its views of the beautifully kept garden and the formal dining room, which if you choose not to extend could be knocked through to open it up and create the modern way of life. Upstairs has three bedrooms and a family bathroom, with a separate cloakroom downstairs. Outside the driveway has space for a number of cars, leading to the dual tandom garage whilst to the rear is a lovely spot to watch the sun set being west facing. The garden would benefit from a bit of light tree maintenance to make the garden and house lighter.

Set within 1 mile of Horley town, which comprises a range of restaurants and shops, with the train station central to the town connecting you to London and Brighton under one hour.

This is truly a lovely plot, so private, ready for the next family to enjoy.

What the Owner says:

Here has been a marvellous family home. We moved here 50 years ago and have not wanted to ever leave.

Over the years we have trundled into town, it is a pleasant walk and is my regular exercise. We looked into and had plans drawn up and passed to extend, however the children all moved out so there was no longer a need for the extra space.

I hope the next family enjoy and spend as much time here as we have.
