"A well-preserved terraced house dating from 1870, which retains original windows and is situated on a quiet no-through road adjoining a protected woodland.

The front door opens into the characterful sitting room which has been lovingly maintained by the current owner and which retains much of the original detailing, including an open fireplace with brick surround. There is a galley kitchen beyond with a gas hob, integrated oven and space for white goods under counter. The bathroom at the rear of the house incorporates a bath and over tub shower. Planning has been granted (WA202300333) for an infill extension at ground floor level to allow a new L-shaped range of kitchen units with space for a dining room table and new entrance into the bathroom, as well as a front porch. Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms with the master benefitting from recently installed built in wardrobes and an original cast iron fire grate.

Situation
Sandrock is a well-regarded no through residential road in the centre of Haslemere, just a short walk to the station and High Street. Haslemere is situated on the border between Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire and is well placed for access to London either via the A3 London to Portsmouth Road or via the mainline station to London Waterloo in under an hour. The area provides an excellent choice of schooling catering to all ages in both the state and private sectors. Haslemere town centre offers a wide range of shopping, sporting and leisure facilities and the area is renowned for its beautiful countryside which includes many walks and bridleways, as well as vast areas of land in the ownership of the National Trust.
