"The Keep has had a number of uses in military terms since first being built as part of Cardwells Keep barracks, including an armoury, originally an officers mess and an administrative headquarters. In the 1990's it was imaginatively converted and our ground floor apartment is an excellent example. A security entry-phone system gives access to the communal hallway. A personal door leads to the entrance hall which is a great place for hanging coats etc. A stunning feature of this flat is the superb sitting/dining room, with excellent dimensions featuring an interesting roof line and two tall full-tilt double glazed windows with mullioned surrounds. The kitchen has been re-fitted with a comprehensive range of sleek white gloss eye and base level units, a large range of work surfaces, four burner electric hob with oven below, extractor hood over and spaces for dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is also a wall mounted Worcester Bosch gas boiler. The master bedroom is of very good proportions and features two built-in double wardrobes and again a tall double glazed window. Bedroom two is also a decent size and currently affords a double bed. The bathroom is likewise sizeable and re-fitted with a white suite and part-tiled walls, providing a real luxurious feel. The house is heated via a gas heating system to radiators.


The flat comes with a share of the freehold and the service charge is ?150 pcm."
