"Springfield Road is a quiet and highly regarded Victorian street in the heart of central Guildford and no more than a short stroll across the road into Guildford's bustling town centre. The property has been significantly improved by our clients during their time there and is now a house that very much retains the character and the warmth of the Victorian era but which is now blended with all the conveniences of modern day living. On the ground floor a beautiful rich wood floor runs through the sitting room and dining room - as well as up the stairs and through the landing - both of which are extremely attractive and comfortable rooms, while on the back there is a very well fitted kitchen with a range of wooden worktops, a five burner stainless steel gas hob with a stainless steel extractor above, oven, microwave, fitted dishwasher and fridge freezer along with tiled floor, partly tiled walls and a door that leads out onto the superb elevated deck at the back of the house. On the first floor there are two delightful double bedrooms, one on the front and one on the back and a quite superb bathroom which has been refitted by our clients with great attention to detail. To one end there is a large Whirpool bath while to the other is a large fitted shower. The walls and the floor have been beautifully tiled and to one wall there is a splendid stainless steel towel rail and a further stainless steel radiator along with underfloor heating. On the lower ground floor of the house there is a substantial basement made up of three separate rooms which could be converted into a good deal of further living space if required by an incoming buyer and indeed our clients have a recent quote for making this area into a further reception room, bedroom and bathroom. In short this is a beautiful period home in an excellent location and one for which Curchods are the Sole Agents."
