"The Shimmings is a highly regarded development of beautifully proportioned flats situated on the outskirts of Guildford but still within easy reach of its lovely historic town centre. Situated on the top floor this is a notably light and airy flat with a substantial sitting room creating a wonderful principal reception room which also has a dining area off to one side which could equally well be used as a study area if preferred. The kitchen is fitted out with a range of wooden units, space for all the usual appliances and overlooks the communal gardens to the front while to the other side of the apartment there are two double bedrooms, both with built in wardrobes, and a bathroom. At the back of the flats there is a block of garages one of which comes with the flat and at the front there are well kept and tended communal gardens which give The Shimmings a delightful setting. Undoubtedly part of the pleasure is the location as this is a quiet and convenient spot within easy reach of Guildford's beautiful historic town centre and everything that goes with it. Here you will find a myriad of bars, cafes and restaurants that cater for almost every conceivable taste as well as endless shopping opportunities and entertainment that includes the Yvonne Arnaud theatre, the multi screen cinema and the superb G Live venue. From The Shimmings there is also easy road access to the A3 and the M25 and the town as a whole is surrounded by some of the areas most beautiful countryside notably in the Surrey hills which has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty."
