"As soon as you arrive, you know this is a special house.

The gravel driveway, the pretty front garden and the covered entrance porch welcome you home and invite you into the hallway and there you are bathed in natural light. You will notice the high ceilings and stripped period doors, the first of which leads you into a bright, double aspect sitting room with a period fireplace, ceiling rose and fitted bookshelves. A second door opens into a family room with an angled bay window, a period fireplace and smart stripped wood floor. The flooring continues into an interconnecting dining room, which has a sash window to the rear. From here an open doorway leads into the stunning kitchen breakfast room, which has a spectacular vaulted ceiling with Velux windows, a high level arched window to the rear and double doors leading directly to the garden. This is when you know you have arrived at the heart of the house. Bathed in light from all directions, the kitchen has been wonderfully appointed with quality wooden wall and floor units, with solid wood block work surfaces, exuding a feeling of warmth and practicality. Appliances include an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, five ring gas hob and oven, and there is plenty of space for a breakfast table. A pretty tiled floor and period style radiators further complement this delightful room. A door leads into the utility room, which houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, matching wooden units and work tops. There is a WC with period style high level flush and wash hand basin with chrome taps.

From the hallway, which houses a deep coat cupboard, a character staircase leads to the first floor landing. The fabulous master bedroom offers space, comfort and natural light, with an exquisite period feature fireplace. Two other double bedrooms, one with a period feature fireplace, are serviced by a superb family bathroom which houses a white suite incorporating a bath and wash hand basin, both with chrome period style taps, WC and tiled floor.

A further staircase leads to a second floor, which incorporates two additional double bedrooms (one of which is currently used as a children's TV room) and a great sized bathroom and a deep linen cupboard. All rooms on this floor, as well as the landing, feature Velux windows, which bring more natural light into the entire upper section of the property."
