"Built in 1925 'White Place' is a beautiful and imposing property situated right in the heart of Cranleigh but as you step onto the gravelled driveway and walk up the front path past the immaculately manicured lawns and borders, you leave the hustle and bustle of village life behind you. Oak internal doors and joinery together with decorative leaded windows complement the property throughout and add to the ambience of this impressive and well-loved family home.

An attractive wooden porch with tiled roof and quarry tiled floor provides a welcoming area in which you can leave your boots before stepping through the solid oak front door into the impressive hallway which is the heart of the house. From here a grand oak, turning staircase rises past a large picture window which overlooks the walled rear garden.

The first door on the left opens into the handsome dining room, with window overlooking the charming front gardens. From here you access the country-style kitchen, fitted with a combination of base and eye level units in vintage pine with white ceramic knobs. There is an integrated plate rack, Siemens oven, microwave, separate gas hob with extractor and white ceramic sink. In turn you access the 'snug' which is an ideal area for breakfast and enjoying the morning paper. There is a large separate utility room with fitted base and eye-level units, stainless steel sink and door to the rear patio. Also downstairs is a very useful cloakroom with toilet and washbasin.

On the opposite side of the hall to the dining room is a cosy double aspect sitting room with doors opening onto the pretty rear patio and large lead casement window overlooking the front gardens. The focal point of this room is a brick fireplace with half-moon quarry tiled hearth, oak surround and mantle which would be a delightful place to relax on a winter's evening enjoying a good book taken from one of the fitted book shelves which grace the walls.

Upstairs there are four good sized bedrooms, three doubles and one single, all furnished with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom also benefits from an en-suite with double sink unit, toilet, bidet and separate shower cubicle.

There is also a family bathroom which has been fitted with a walk-in bathtub, bidet, toilet and washbasin. A larger than average walk-in airing cupboard provides useful storage for all your linen."
