Within easy reach of the towns of Diss & Stowmarket offering a wide range of supermarkets, shops and mainline commuting train stations on the Norwich - London  serving also Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. The nearby town of Eye is home to a medieval castle ruins and highly regarded Hartismere secondary school (Ofsted 'Outstanding').
