The lodge was built in 2007 by Island Leisure Lodges who were established in 1989 and have been Scotland's premier manufacturer of quality buildings for many years. The property is of timber construction with performance insulation to all walls, floors and roofs providing a most comfortable lodge whatever the weather. There is low energy glass and imported superior quality doors and windows from Scandinavia. Internally the versatile living accommodation provides "a home from home" and comprises: spacious entrance porch with storage facility, reception hall, superb lounge open plan to dining room and fitted kitchen with French doors to a sizeable and impressive deck area with barbeque facilities. The decking provides beautiful open views. There is a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, two further bedrooms and a second shower room. All rooms are tastefully presented and specification is to an excellent standard which include quality kitchen and shower room fittings, warmth is provided by a gas fired central heating complemented by a gas stove in the lounge. From Stirling, proceed to Strathyre on the A84 passing through Doune and Callander.
