"The approach to this house is along a tree lined, quiet road. Number 59 is on the left, approximately half way up. A double wooden gate takes you into a large shared yard, beyond which the access to the house is through an inviting stone archway with iron gate. In front of you is the large garden and to the left the entrance to a versatile glazed porch and utility area. This is a fabulous area for shoes, coats and the kids' muddy boots. There is also a small cloakroom. Through a stable door is a functional galley kitchen with wooden units, a large window overlooking the yard area. This leads seamlessly to the dining room where there is space for a large dining table and comfy chairs. A redbrick fireplace with wood burner stove adds warmth and character. The wooden floor, high skirting and original coving provide a sense of period living. A window provides plenty of light. A cool, light room during the summer months and a cosy, warm and hospitable place during the winter. Clearly the heart of the home, you can almost imagine the whole family eating around a large table or sat cosily by the fireside. From here you pass the central staircase to the living room, which again has period features including a delightful black cast iron fire insert with decorative tiles to both sides. A bay window looks out to the front and the view is slightly screened with a tree, there is also a partially glazed front door. Oak flooring and alcoves to either side of the fire, which have discreet lighting above, make this a very warm and cosy room, ideal to relax in at the end of the day. The central staircase takes you to a large spindled landing. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes offering masses of storage space. Deep skirting and coving edge the room. A front facing window gives plenty of light. Bedroom two is an excellent size and would easily accommodate a double bed. Deep skirting and coving edge the room. A front facing window offers views up and down the Avenue. Bedroom three is also an excellent size. The original black cast decorative fire surround is the focal point, but the beauty of this room is the view from the rear facing window, overlooking the garden. Here you can watch the birds in the garden and take in the peace and privacy of this house. A hallway leads to the contemporary bathroom. Recently fitted and fully tiled, this room includes a bath, separate large shower cubicle, toilet and sink. Tasteful floor tiles finish this room off delightfully. From the landing a door takes you up a stair to the large attic bedroom with views to the rear. While spacious and comfortable at present, it also offers excellent potential for expanding the size of this very large room to make a master suite or split into two bedrooms with additional bathroom. Return now to the unique and spacious garden. From the Porch you step on to a crazy paved patio area with space for a large table. A wall to one side and fence and shrubs to the other, this makes a fantastic area to dine and socialise during the summer months in relative privacy. Two paved steps take you to another paved area with greenhouse and a large outbuilding, an ideal space for a home office, workshop or extra storage. Then onto a lawn which offers plenty of room for children to play or to sit and relax yourself, surrounded by trees, shrubs and recently planted fruit trees. An original gas light that has been converted to electric offers a quirky lighting effect. At the back of the garden is a large conservatory building, currently being used as an office and workshop. This could easily be converted into a sociable garden room. All of the outbuildings in the garden have electricity and the greenhouse and conservatory style building have water supplies. ยฉ Elizabeth Williams 2015Why you'll love it?.The space this home provides is amazing and very versatile, it is quiet and private and most essentially a warm and safe home.
