Summary
Romany is a detached bungalow situated in this superb position close to the centre of Somerton yet enjoying a rural southerly outlook. Internally the property is in need of general updating, however it has been extended in the past and now offers comfortable living space including a larger living room with bay window over looking the front garden and farmland beyond. There is a gas fired central heating to radiators and in the past few years the windows, doors, front guttering and fascias have been replaced. The kitchen area has also been extended and now opens to a reasonable size dining room. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside there are good size gardens with a private south facing front garden and raised patio, driveway, parking and single garage.

Situation and Amenities
Situated on the southern outskirts of Somerton yet still within easy reach of the town centre. The property has a pleasant rural outlook over neighbouring farmland. Somerton was the ancient Capital of Wessex in the 8th century and a former market town. It then later became the County town of Somerset in the 13th/14th Century. There is a good level of amenities including shops, bank, library, doctor and dentist surgeries, there are also several public houses, restaurants, churches and primary schools within the town. A more comprehensive range of amenities can be found in the County town of Taunton to the west or Yeovil to the south. The mainline railway stations are located in Castle Cary, Yeovil and Taunton. The property is also well served by the A303 linking both central London and the South West, the M5 can be joined at junction 23.
