"A detached edge of village bungalow with rural views and large garden in the heart of Exmoor. Sitting room, kitchen/dining room, inner hall, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 2 further bedrooms, family shower room, gardens, garage, basement with workshop and storage.

SITUTATION This lovely property is situated in an elevated position with wonderful far reaching views across open countryside. Hillview is situated on the edge of the village of Exford, one of the three villages comprising what is known locally as The Golden Triangle of Exmoor. Exford is a thriving village with two hotels, general stores, post office, church, village hall and first school.<br/> Dulverton, ten miles away, is a delightful small town nestling in the Barle Valley within the Exmoor National Park and is well known as The Gateway to Exmoor. It provides good day to day shopping together with two churches, a bank, post office, chemist, doctors, dentists and veterinary surgeries and a well used town hall. There are also good restaurants and recreational facilities including squash courts, all weather tennis courts and football and cricket pitches.<br/> Hillview is ideally situated to take advantage of the riding and walking in the valleys and on the open expanses of Exmoor with the open moorland only a short drive or ride away. The coast to the north is within easy reach and provides a wealth of water sports such as sailing and surfing.<br/> DESCRIPTION Hillview is an attractive bungalow situated in an elevated position on the edge of the village and enjoying fine views over the surrounding countryside. Built in 1989 with rendered elevations under a tiled roof the property offers very light and spacious rooms which provide flexible accommodation and would be equally suitable for permanent occupancy or for use as a holiday home. There is a large garden with parking for two vehicles as well as a garage. ACCOMMODATION The property is approached over the driveway to the enclosed front porch and then into the hallway. The kitchen is well fitted with a range of floor and wall units and the sink is positioned below a picture window with the wonderful view beyond. The dining area has two doors, one leading to the balcony and the other to the sitting room, which also has patio doors leading to the balcony. <br/> The inner hall gives access to two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom and to a family shower room. A single bedroom leads off the main hall.<br/> The house also has the benefit of full oil fired central heating and the majority of the windows are double glazed. Also underneath the property is a large storage area and basement which has a variety of potential uses and is currently divided into several separate areas including a cloakroom, a workshop, an area previously used as a bar and pool room and a further area used as a skittle alley.<br/> To the side of the property steps lead down to the good sized garden which is mainly laid to lawn with some mature trees and shrubs. OUTSIDE To the front of the property there is parking for several cars and at the side there is a garage. To the side of the property steps lead to a large garden area from which fine views are enjoyed over the surrounding countryside and the village. The garden is terraced and partly sloping. Go up this lane and take the first left into Tudballs and at the end of Tudballs, Hillview is the second property on the left.
