"This is a stunning and surprisingly spacious three bedroom 1940s semi-detached property in a popular location on the west side of Frome and conveniently located for the town centre. The property has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme over the last couple of years to include a new central heating boiler and a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room occupying the whole of the rear of the property. The property comes with a block built out building, utility room decked terrace and lovely views over the Somerset and Wiltshire countryside. The accommodation comprises enclosed entrance porch, entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor, living room with a bay window to the front solid oak flooring and a feature electric fire. The whole of the rear is occupied by a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room with French doors leading to the rear decked terrace which brings in lots of natural light and extends the room to the outside in the summer months. The kitchen has a central island unit with solid hard wood reclaimed top with inset sink and chrome pillar tap. There are a range of wall and floor units with laminate worktops, a tiled bay with space for a range cooker and fitted with an extractor hood over. There is space for a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The room is finished off with a solid oak floor and an exposed stone open fireplace. The utility room is to the side and has a range of cupboards with space for a washing machine, laminate worktops and inset 1 1/2 bowl stainless steel sink. There is a window on the first floor landing providing natural light. Bedroom one is a good size and has a bay window located to the front elevation.  Bedroom three is also at the front.  The second bedroom is to the rear with with far reaching views over Somerset and Cley Hill.  It has a built in wardrobe and an airing cupboard which houses the gas fired boiler.  The bathroom is fitted with a white suite comprising a shower bath with glass screen, pedestal hand wash basin and low level dual flush WC.  Externally the front garden has a hedge, rockery, ornamental pond, tree and some lawn.  There is a drive providing off road parking of one vehicle.  The rear garden is fully enclosed with a decked terrace and steps leading down the lawn, patio and a block outbuilding with a pitched roof.   These properties rarely come to market and early viewing is recommended.

Frome is a pretty market town and recently voted one of the top six places to live in England by 'The Times' newspaper. It has a thriving town centre with many amenities, including a wide range of local and individual shops, a twice weekly market, banks, post office, two theatres, a number of music venues, a cinema, pubs and restaurants, a new local hospital, supermarkets, a number of schools including the highly sought after Trinity First School and a railway station with direct mainline services to London. There is a Leisure Centre with swimming pool and the usual facilities. Located on the borders of Somerset and Wiltshire the surrounding countryside offers lots of lovely walks and opportunities for outdoor pursuits including cycling, rambling and horse riding. The town has two golf courses, a football club, cricket and bowls clubs. Nearby is the well renowned Longleat Estate, a number of national trust properties including Stourhead, and Babbington House Country Club. The stunning Georgian city of Bath lies approximately 15 miles distant, which is home to elegant buildings, amazing museums and ancient hot springs, offering a wealth of cultural experiences to enjoy. There are good road links to London and the South West via the A303, M4 and M5 all of which are in reasonable reach. Mainline rail connections to London are also provided from Bath and nearby Westbury and Bristol International airport is also just a 45 minute drive away.
