"Come and take a closer look at this truly wonderful residence, packed full of charm and character throughout. The Hay Barn is situated between the pretty villages of Congresbury and Langford with the adjoining countryside directly on your front door. This superb property has been tastefully upgraded by the current owners and enjoys special features including a wonderful inglenook fireplace, attractive galleried landing and a fantastic fitted homely kitchen/family room. The property also boasts four double bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. Outside you can find two additional outbuildings, one being currently used as an home office and the other could make (subject to planning consent) a further dwelling or the perfect annex for someone wanting dual occupancy living. Properties like this one are certainly a rare find and HERITAGE would strongly recommend an internal inspection to fully appreciate this beautiful home.
Vendors Comments We were looking for a family property in the countryside but also within an easy commute to Bristol, Weston Super Mare and the M5 corridor and somewhere with local train services that ran through to London. Also space for a home office was on our list.
We looked at quite a few properties and fell in love with this one immediately and had to have it. Even though very large and spacious it had a cosy homely feel with the aga in the kitchen and wood burner in the lounge. I also loved the open mezzanine floor looking into the lounge from above. The house has so much potential with the additional outbuildings.
The views of the Mendips across the fields are fabulous and the local schools are rated very highly.
