"Widcombe is a prime location with a variety of pretty homes of different ages. Excelsior Street is only 0.1 miles to the River Avon with a walk to the city centre and mainline train station. The house is at the end of the road from the local school. Bath University is at the top of Widcombe hill and the buzzy suburb of shops and eateries at the bottom. Widcombe High Street boasts an array of quality restaurants, friendly cafes and independent shops. There is an annual summer street party and plenty of events and clubs. Bath Spa train station with regular trains to London and Bristol make this a superb location for commuters. The house is well situated for the catchment area for Beechen Cliff and Widcombe Infant Schools among others. The property is a part of the 19th century red brick housing just off the city's centre. Excelsior Street leads under the arches of the railway line to the river. The house is well formed with a living room to the front and a kitchen to the rear. Both rooms are well presented with space under the stairs for a desk in the living room and a well fitted kitchen to the rear. The main bedroom is a good size with plenty of space. The second bedroom is smaller making it a single bedroom or office. A ladder from the second bedroom leads up to the roof space which has been carpeted and has been used to accommodate guests staying over. The bathroom is upstairs and is a white suite with a shower over bath. To the rear is an enclosed garden with a westerly aspect that has a pergola over the hot tub. Residents Parking to the front.
