"The Old Vicarage in Cleeton St Mary is perfect for anyone looking to purchase a spacious country house with original features and potential to create a home to suit their own requirements.

It is believed that The Old Vicarage was built in the mid 1800s by a local family as a country hunting lodge. It was later let to the Church and used for several years as the village Vicarage until it was sold as a private residence. The present owner has occupied the property for about the last fifty years. Over the years several improvements and alterations have been undertaken which has included the roof being replaced very recently. It is fair to say that the property requires some modernisation and there is enormous potential to create a very fine and elegant country village home.

The house boasts many original features which include stone mullioned windows, period fireplaces and high ceilings. Most of the principal rooms have large windows which allow in plenty of natural light.

Outside to the rear of the property there is a courtyard around which are several outbuildings which include a block built store/workshop, store room, fuel store and a garage.

The gardens lie to the front and both sides of the house. There are an abundance of mature trees, shrubs and plants. There is plenty of potential to create a beautifully landscaped garden.

As well as the oil fired central heating there is a supplementary solar panel which heats the hot water.

Cleeton St Mary is about 10 miles east of Ludlow and just a couple of miles from Cleobury Mortimer with Kidderminster and the West Midlands beyond.
