    Set in a most picturesque and private position, The Marches offers plenty of very flexible and spacious accommodation. It is situated in the desirable village of Bucknell and is within easy access of village facilities on one side and with lovely open countryside on the other. For anyone looking for spacious accommodation this is ideal.

    At the rear of the bungalow there is a superb L shaped sitting/dining room. The sitting area is particularly spacious and light having sliding double glazed doors leading out onto a terrace and from which there are views over the gardens and to the hills in the distance. A focal point is a fireplace with an open fire.

    The kitchen is fitted with ample wall and base units and a special feature is the oil fired Aga. From the kitchen is a utility room with sink and plumbing and plenty of space for a fridge and freezer.

    On the ground floor are three double bedrooms, two of which have views over the gardens to the countryside. These rooms could be used for other purposes if required. The main ground floor bathroom has a bath, wash basin, wc, bidet and shower.

    On the first floor is a spacious landing off which is a wc, a walk in airing cupboard, a store cupboard and a small kitchenette with sink, hotplate, extractor fan and built in fridge. There are a further two spacious double bedrooms on the first floor, one having views across the village to the church steeple and the other having views out to the surrounding countryside. The first floor bathroom has a bath and wash basin.

    The bungalow is approached over a shared drive and over the river bridge onto a large parking area suitable for several vehicles. The front lawn leads down to the picturesque meandering river Red Lake. The rear garden is a very special feature. It is private and attracts most of the daytime sunshine. From the terrace steps lead up to an extensive lawn which is interspersed with several mature flower beds, a variety of ornamental trees, shrubs and bushes. The gardens are bordered on three sides by farmland and there are views to some of the most picturesque surrounding countryside. Within the garden is an octagonal greenhouse, a timber shed and a fuel and bin store.

    The popular village of Bucknell lies about fifteen miles west of historic Ludlow. The village has a thriving community with two local inns, a primary school, a church, a village hall, shop, garage, petrol station and railway station. There is also a post office and a butcher shop.

After the level crossing turn left past the school on the left and the church on the right and just before the village signboard turn left and the property is ahead of you."
