Wayside is a well-appointed and well-presented three or four bedroom stone built house located in the heart of this popular seaside village on the Berwickshire coast. The house has generous reception space with a large dining kitchen, two good sized reception rooms and a sun room. Upstairs in the main house are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Above the kitchen is a study or fourth bedroom with its own lavatory and the property further benefits from a partially floored loft. The house is double glazed throughout and heated via an oil fired central heating boiler. Location
Wayside is located in the centre of the idyllic village of Coldingham with its pubs, village hall, post office/ coffee shop, primary school and village store an easy walk away. Only two miles from the A1, Coldingham is a conservation village on the rugged Berwickshire coast located some 3 miles north of Eyemouth and one mile from the popular, scenic village of St Abbs. While Coldingham and Eyemouth have a good selection of local services, Berwick upon Tweed, some 13 miles away, has a comprehensive range of supermarkets, retail and leisure facilities and an East Coast mainline station providing regular services to Edinburgh, Newcastle and London, three and a half hours to the south. The Blue Flag sandy beach at Coldingham Bay is very popular and only a short drive away as are the cliff top walks of the Berwickshire Coast. The area has a wide range of recreational opportunities with sailing, surfing, rowing, swimming, diving, golfing, hill walking, riding and country sports all available locally.
