DIRECTIONS Proceed out of Welshpool on the bypass towards Newtown and on reaching the roundabout take the first exit signposted Montgomery. Continue along the road for approximately 5 miles to the town of Montgomery, passing through the town and continuing on for a further 4 miles to a staggered crossroads. Turn right on the A489 signposted Sarn. After 2 ? Miles and on arriving at the village of Sarn take a left turn by the school (and just before and opposite the Sarn Inn). Continue along this minor road for ? mile and immediately after passing Severn Trent water treatment works turn right. Follow this road for ? mile until reaching a sharp left hand bend, with a right turn on a unmade road identified by a large 'Coleg Powys' sign (there is also a much smaller Cefn Y Bryn sign). Take this unmade road for approximately 300mts whereupon Cefn Y Bryn will be found on the left of the track.
