Pen Cae Driw is situated in a superb location in the heart of Mid Wales countryside enjoying panoramic views over the Welsh countryside and 4 miles from the market town of Llanidloes with its old black and white market hall in the centre and which offers a range of shops and facilities together with primary and high schools. A number of tourist attractions are a short distance (ie) Clywedog Reservoir, the Cambrian Mountains. The university town of Aberystwyth some 36 miles away, railway station at Caersws some 12 miles distant and Shrewsbury 52 miles which gives access to the motorway network.
