"The house is approached down a private driveway with parking to front and side. The house is entered through a panelled front door beneath a canopy porch into the hall with staircase and panelled doors off the the drawing room and dining room. Both rooms have large light sash windows and picture rails with a good stone fireplace in the drawing room and an inglenook with inset log burner in the dining room. The kitchen to the rear has a gas fired 2 oven AGA and a door leading through to the pantry, whilst beyond the study area is a cloakroom and a utility room with Belfast sink and door to outside. Upstairs there are 2 principal bedrooms overlooking the front gardens with both having en suite shower rooms. A smaller bedroom also looks out over the front, and there is a bathroom and walk-in airing cupboard to the rear. A secondary staircase leads up to the second floor landing and 2 futher double bedrooms. Being close to the A40 the area is highly convenient for Brecon, Crickhowell, Abergavenny and the M4. Local train services are from Abergavenny and on to Newport with an hourly service to London Paddington (under 2 hours).The delightful town of Hay on Wye, is a short drive and is famous for its annual literacy festival and bookshops; there are numberous water activities on nearby Llangorse Lake; salmon and trout fishing is usually available on the River Wye and Usk; a number of excellent golf courses are within easy reach; as there are almost unlimited walks and rides through the surrounding countryside and the Brecon Beacons.
