Ynys Faen is an impressive coastal property occupying a stunning elevated position overlooking the popular harbour village of Porthgain and out to sea in the famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Ynys Faen is located in on the edge of the popular harbour village of Porthgain which stands on the North West Pembrokeshire Coastline between the Market Town of Fishguard about 11 miles and the Cathedral City of St Davids about 8 miles and is situated in the famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its miles of stunning beaches and coastal walks.

Porthgain is steeped in history and is renowned for its old slate and brick works, the harbour and as being a fishing village. It has the benefit of the Sloop Public House Restaurant, a Fish Restaurant, art galleries and an ice cream shop.

Also within the locality are other well known sandy beaches and coves at Traeth Llyfn, Abereiddy, Whitesands Bay, Porthclais, Caerfai, Solva, Newgale, Aberfelin, Abercastle, Abermawr and Aberbach.

Within a mile and a half or so is the other well known village at Croesgoch which has the benefit of a Primary School, Public House Post Office Fish & Chip Shop, an Art Gallery Chapel, Repair Garage, Agricultural Store and a Hairdressers Beauty Salon. The Cathedral City of St Davids is close by and is renowned for its Cathedral and Bishops Palace and has the benefit of a good range of amenities and facilities together with numerous Shops, Secondary and Primary Schools, Churches, Chapels, a Bank, Hotels, Restaurants, Public Houses, Cafes, Take Aways, Art Galleries, a Supermarket and a Petrol Filling Station Hotel Store.

The County and Market Town of Haverfordwest is about 20 miles and has the benefit of an excellent Shopping Centre together with an extensive range of amenities and facilities including Secondary and Primary Schools, Churches, Chapels, Banks, Building Societies, Hotels, Restaurants, Public Houses, Cafes, Take Away s, Art Galleries, a Library, Supermarkets, Petrol Filling Stations, a Leisure Centre, Further Education College, The County Council Offices and The County Hospital at Withybush.
