"Why we like it:
Over 2000 square feet of accommodation having been skilfully extended and improved to an excellent standard, this property would suit a family wanting village life with its great proximity to the village amenities and transport links. Backing onto the recreation ground to the rear with a westerly aspect, the property has a good sized garden with a self contained home office/gym which has power and heating. Our favourite feature has to be the open plan living space with exposed floor timbers and vaulted ceiling. This fantastic kitchen/dining/lounge opens onto the garden through large sliding doors to two aspects, allowing plenty of natural light into the property from every angle. The kitchen has granite work tops, a central island with seating and natural slate floor tiles. The Bathrooms have floor to ceiling natural limestone tiling and are finished to a very high specification.

What it offers:
On the ground floor three double bedrooms, a family bathroom with separate shower, cloakroom and storage/coat cupboard are located off of the large spacious hallway. The property can be entered at the front from either the main front door or side door. The superb kitchen with granite work tops, central island and natural slate floor opens into the open plan lounge/dining room. The vaulted ceiling gives this room a real wow factor, and the exposed floor timbers are from the original building before it was renovated. This space is ideal for families and entertaining in the warmer months when the large sliding doors can be opened for inside/outside living. The kitchen also benefits from a utility room with a back door. The first floor is reached by a solid oak staircase and offers one large master bedroom with en-suite. The master bedroom is double aspect with two dormer windows to the front and two velux windows to the rear making this room extremely light. The property has been tastefully decorated and has Brinton carpets throughout.

There is parking to the front of the property for two/three cars and the rear garden is of a good size and mainly laid to lawn with a large patio area. Located in the far right corner of the garden there is a self contained 12` x 12` insulated home office/gym with power and heating with an adjoining storage room/shed.

Cholsey lies approximately three miles to the south west of Wallingford, originating from a tiny Saxon farming community to the thriving lively commuter village of today.
