"Renovated, extended and beautifully presented semi detached house with pretty gardens. Unusually spacious for the type, early viewing is highly recommended

With nothing left to do to this property you can move straight in and enjoy both it and this lovely village! Bletchingdon is a well regarded North Oxfordshire village, set on a plateau overlooking Oxford and Kidlington to the South. Its roots date back to Norman times, evidence of which can most easily be seen in St Giles parish church. Many residents are drawn to the village by its First school. Local activities revolve around the village hall as well as a 17th century pub (which also supplies basic goods and newspapers), and an active sports and social club with playing field and childrens' play area. In addition plans are currently with the local council to build a new village hall which will also contain a community run shop. Commuting access is excellent with Oxford and Bicester within easy driving distance, Islip and Bicester stations are close by and there are frequent buses running to and from Oxford. 39 St Giles is a post-war semi detached house of a type commonly found. This is where the similarity with others ends. Our clients are fastidious owners who have taken great pride in detailing the house well. Consequently from the block paved driveway at the front to the immaculate garden to the rear the house is exceptional. The front porch, added by the owners, leads into a long hallway with wooden floor. Off to the right there is a window and beneath it shelves and good space for boots etc. To the left the living room is both spacious and very light, with further shelves in the alcove alongside the fireplace (not currently used) and to the front is a wide double glazed window. Further down the hall the cloak room is immaculate throughout with a white, modern suite and part-tiled walls. At the end of the corridor is a delightful kitchen. With a range of units to the right and in the extended part to the rear it is comprehensively equipped including a stainless steel double oven, and the floor is the same practical and attractive wood laminate as in the hall. To the right there is great space for a family dining table and at least six chairs, and at the rear are double doors opening onto the terrace - note there is also a door from the right hand rear onto the garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Beds one and two are ample doubles, both have large windows and also wardrobes built in. Bedroom three while smaller is a good single room. All three are immaculately presented. Serving the three is a family bathroom with modern suite and a good quality laminate wood floor. There is tiling around the bath as well as a shower over it, and there is even a modern extractor fan fitted. Outside, to the front is a block paved driveway for off street parking, either side of which is lawn. At the rear (nb there is also side access) is a wonderful landscaped garden. Block paving circles round from the left outside the kitchen windows to the shed at the rear right hand end of the garden. In the middle is a lawn around which are ranged several frees and pretty border plants, and the while is securely fenced in. Also valuable to note is the clever veranda/ open store to the side of the house. Also block paved, this adds an immense amount of covered storage to the property but could also double as a lovely evening seating space if desired. Mains water, gas, drainage
