Location
Lower Shiplake is a desirable Thameside village offering good local amenities including a post office and general store, public house, a local butcher and mainline rail station to London Paddington and Henley-on-Thames. The River Thames is a short stroll from the property with Shiplake Lock close by offering delightful Thameside walks to both Henley and Sonning. The town centres of Henley and Reading are both within easy reach with a wide range of shopping facilities, Reading town centre of course boasting many major shopping multiples. There is also excellent sporting and leisure facilities within the locality together with a wide choice of both state and private education with the local Shiplake College within walking distance.
