"Semi detached barn conversion in an excellent elevated position with open views across the countryside towards the coast. The Barn sits within a small group of conversions in open countryside just between Shilbottle and Guyzance, only around 2 miles from the main A1 road. The entrance hall with cloakroom/ w.c. off opens to a traditional sitting room with open fire and French doors to the garden. The modern open plan kitchen/ dining room includes John Lewis fitted units with integral appliances and Range style cooker, providing excellent cooking and living space. There is also a useful utility room. On the first floor the master bedroom has outstanding views across towards the sea from a large picture window and there is an en suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms and family bathroom. Mains gas central heating and double glazing included.
The large gardens have been laid to lawn with parking space, vegetable beds and access to the garage.
This is a particularly attractive area of the countryside ideal for dog walking and horse riding or other country pursuits. Shilbottle and Acklington both have village first schools, with further schooling and shopping facilities in Alnwick or Morpeth.
