The Area
Longhoughton is a small coastal village in Northumberland and
lies about 4.5 miles north east of Alnwick. Local facilities include
a village shop, post office, Church and First school. In addition
First, Middle and High schools are also available in Alnwick.
Alnwick has an abundance of amenities including specialist
shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels. The District is renowned for its unspoilt beauty, sandy beaches and medieval castles. There are numerous stately homes in the areas including the fantastic Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The East Coast railway station, only a short drive away, at Alnmouth gives direct links to both Newcastle and Edinburgh and London Kings Cross.

Directions
From Alnwick take the A1068 (signposted Ashington). After
about 2 miles turn left and drive through Lesbury. Follow the
signs for Longhoughton. Upon entering the village turn right at
the cross roads, continue through the village, taking the second
left onto Burnside, bear right and Park Road will be seen on the
left hand side.
