Christon Bank is approximately 2 miles from the beach at Newton by the Sea and around 4 miles from the main A1 road. Nearby Embleton has a village first school, petrol station and shop and choice of restaurant/public houses. Christon Bank has public house/restaurant and a village shop. The idyllic beaches which form part of Northumberland's heritage coastline:- Newton, Beadnell and Seahouses are all nearby, overlooked by the Castles of Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh.
